Hi! I’m Bill, the creator of this web site. I live in San Antonio TX, the home of the Alamo, originally a colonial Spanish mission and now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
During past years I’ve started
and operated several home based businesses. These include manufacture and sale of botanicals, wood post processing, management
of rental property, technical consulting, and contract technical work. We have also examined dozens of small
businesses to understand how they got started, how they operate, what their
products are, and their other aspects. I
continue to operate home businesses, including this web site.
My wife and I are experienced store front business owners and operators. We have bought, operated and sold two successful businesses. Those businesses were located in commercial areas and had fabrication space. They are a screen printing and a commercial engraving business.
The educational background of this author includes degrees in mechanical engineering and business (MBA).
